Raise the Bar and Lower the Risk
We aren’t going back to work… because we have been here the entire time!
With residential treatment programs that provide 24/7 nursing and support services and a Child Development Center caring for 35 children, we do not have the option to close our doors.
Thompson made a commitment to provide the children with a safe place to live and play; and we made a commitment to provide a safe work environment for our staff. And despite the risks, 100 staff members are showing up in-person – every day – to care for these children and families.
Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, is equipment worn to minimize being exposed to COVID-19, and other contagious diseases. Despite the PPE shortages, Thompson is preparing to secure protective gowns, masks, and face shields for all staff working with the Thompson children and families.
Won’t you help us on this Giving Tuesday, as we raise the bar and lower the risk?
